Orbis Olive Oil inaugurates its olive oil factory
Orbis Olive Oil, the olive oil subsidiary of the Orbis Group, inaugurates its new olive oil extraction plant in the province of Sidi Kacem.
As part of the Agricultural Division’s development strategy, the Orbis Group is proud to announce the launch of its new extraction facility dedicated to the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Located in the province of Sidi Kacem, this facility represents a milestone for the group’s olive oil subsidiary, Orbis Olive Oil, strengthening its commitment to environmentally friendly production that meets the highest quality standards.
Production is intended for both domestic and international markets.
Orbis Olive Oil is the result of a strategic partnership with the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), a pan-Arab financial institution aimed at enhancing food security.
A Project Combining Tradition and Innovation
The new olive oil extraction plant, developed by Orbis Olive Oil, was designed to blend traditional methods with advanced technology, ensuring the production of extra virgin olive oil of exceptional quality. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery that allows cold pressing, preserving the oil’s nutritional properties and the essence of olives while minimizing environmental impact.
A Modern Facility with Impressive Capacities
The extraction plant features modern and eco-friendly infrastructure, optimized to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets:
- Processing Capacity: 120 tonnes par jour.
- Production Capacity: Jusqu’à 2000 tonnes d’huile d’olive extra vierge par an.
- Extraction Method: Cold extraction with a continuous line, as well as a pomace valorization line equipped with the latest technology.
- Sustainability Commitment: Reduced environmental impact through optimized waste management of by-products (pomace and wastewater).
A Strategic Location with Regional Impact
Located in the province of Sidi Kacem, a key agricultural region in the Kingdom of Morocco, this large-scale project aims to contribute to regional development and create value for local producers while having a positive impact on the surrounding community.
